Our Story...

In the spring of 2015 Madelyn bought a small lavender plant at the hardware and planted it in a ceramic pot. She put it near the driveway and grabbed a sprig every time she left the house in the morning. She loved it so much she joked to people that she might just get dozens more and turn the big front yard into a lavender farm. After a couple of High Country downpours, the plant got moldy and died. The dead lavender sat in its pot reminding her of her negligence, and in the spring of 2016, against all the odds she decided to give this lavender business a try.
Season 1 was a success with a great deal of help from some High Country plant-lovers. We planted lavender in raised beds and swales to encourage maximum soil drainage, and sold a beautiful assortment of products in a little cabin on the lawn. Over the course of the season we hosted tea parties, live music, and a croquet tournament. Thanks in part to a mild winter, the lavender is still alive and ready for season 2!
